“Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know.”

Con Cariño Coaching

I support individuals navigating transitions—career shifts, identity questions, relationship changes, purpose, or the feeling that “something needs to realign and heal”. This work is not self-optimization. It’s a return to what’s already inside us. My approach blends systemic coaching with mindfulness and embodiment (yoga), meditation, breathwork, and expanded awareness practices. It’s IFS- and trauma-informed, grounded, and practical. The goal is tangible: more clarity, more inner peace, more joy.

Con Cariño, meaning “with dedication,” reflect my German-Venezuelan roots.
My personal life experiences guide my philosophy: that transformation grows from compassion and courage, not outer performance.

My values — Clarity, Courage, Compassion and Joy —
are the compass for every engagement I take.

State of the art research which my work builds on:

  • Emotions shape cognition and decision-making via bodily signals. This is central to what we call “somatic marker” work: bodily states associated with emotion bias choices—often outside conscious awareness.

  • Experience leaves patterns in the nervous system and body. Trauma research reviews also show that stress/trauma can affect multiple brain–body systems (endocrine, immune, etc.).

  • Much of what we call “self/ego” in everyday life is self-referential, narrative thought and mind-wandering. Mind-wandering is common and correlates with lower happiness, and experienced meditators show differences in default-mode network activity linked to reduced mind-wandering.

  • Mindfulness/meditation training is associated with changes in brain regions involved in emotion regulation and self-referential processing (e.g., MBSR studies and broader reviews).

  • Interoception (the brain’s representation of internal bodily state) is a core pathway for subjective feeling and awareness. The insula is repeatedly implicated in interoceptive awareness and subjective feeling.

  • Psychedelics can acutely alter self-processing networks (including DMN connectivity) and can occasion experiences described as “ego dissolution/connectedness/mystical-type meaning.” There’s peer-reviewed neuroimaging and clinical literature supporting these phenomena under controlled conditions.
